30th December 2022 : RDSP Tutorial Series

To help users of our free virtual sound chip for RISC OS:

We are releasing a tutorial series on YouTube.

17th December 2022 : New Game Development

Currently I'm developing 3 games for release in 2023:

  • 3D Turbo Boost -- Racing game (Scheduled for Feburary 2023)
  • A-Maze-ing -- Mega maze game (Scheduled for April 2023)
  • Escape to the Light -- Cross platform game covered in the dev blog above (October 2023)
The largest game is Escape to the Light which is an RPG.

I am posting a development blog once a month on my progress.

17th October 2022 : Star Mine on Steam (Second Edition)

We have been updating Star Mine and have added:

  • The master computer assistant
  • Improved GFX and sound
  • Improved level selector

    • This will be released on Steam on the 19th of October 2022.

    2nd July 2022 : Mop Tops now has 40 levels

    10 more levels have been added to Mop Tops that bring new features and
    some technical improvements to the game.

    Including:

    • Magnets/"Mopnets" that attract the Mop Tops
    • Crumbling floors that disappear the more the Mop Tops walk on them
    • A drill that drills downwards
    • Ten new levels
    • Minor bug fixes and internal improvements to use the AMCOG development kit
    • Seperation of the Mop Tops to prevent them walking too closely together
    This update is free to existing users. A sequal to Mop Tops is in development as well
    as an Android, Windows and Linux version.

    It was released at the MUG show 2022.


    26th June 2022 : A new racing game is in development

    A 3D racing game for up to two concurrent players is in development.

    The working title is " Car Hustlers " and it is a 3D multiplayer racing game.




    25th June 2022 : New Mop Top levels are in beta

    10 more Mop Tops levels have been created.

    These new levels employ new features including:

    • Magnets/"Mopnets" that attract the Mop Tops
    • Crumbling floors that disappear the more the Mop Tops walk on them
    • A drill that drills downwards



    30th May 2022 : New Mop Top levels are in development

    We received a request at the Wakefield show for more Mop Tops levels.

    A further 10 are in development with release planned for early June as a free
    update to

    21st May 2022 : AMCOG at the 2022 RISC OS Wakefield show

    We are pleased to announce that 3D Pingo was released on CD and USB at
    the RISC OS Wakefield show:

    This is our twentieth game - including magazine published games and the games
    in the AMCOG Development kit

    Thanks to everyone who came along to see us at the AMCOG stand and bought our games.
    We really appreciate your support.




    31st March 2022 : Rogue Tracker and 3D Pingo in development

    We are currently developing a new game planned for release at the RISC OS Wakefield show 2022.
    The title is a 3D platform game called 3D Pingo

    In addition, RDSP updates incluidng a new music tracker are in development called "Rogue Tracker".
    This music tracker will feature both PCM samples and synthesised sounds.
